1 Understanding Responsible Gaming

5.1 How Self-Exclusion Works at hbije

• Exclusion periods: You may choose a minimum exclusion period of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, or permanent exclusion. hbije does not offer self-exclusion periods shorter than 6 months — shorter breaks should use the cooling-off feature instead.
• Immediate effect: Your account will be suspended within 24 hours of your request being confirmed. Any pending withdrawals at the time of exclusion will be processed and paid to your registered payment method (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or bank account) within the standard processing window.
• Prevention of re-registration: hbije uses the identity details associated with your excluded account to prevent you from opening a new account during the exclusion period. If you attempt to register using the same name, date of birth, or NID number, the registration will be declined.
• Marketing communications: Upon self-exclusion, hbije will immediately remove you from all promotional mailing lists. You will not receive any bonus offers, game announcements, or re-engagement communications for the duration of your exclusion.

5.2 Lifting a Self-Exclusion

A self-exclusion cannot be lifted before the minimum exclusion period has expired. After the period ends, you may submit a written request to reinstate your account. hbije applies a mandatory 7-day reflection period before any reinstatement takes effect — this is to ensure the decision to return to gambling is considered and deliberate rather than impulsive. Permanent self-exclusions cannot be reversed under any circumstances.

6 Deposit & Spend Limits

6.2 Reducing vs. Increasing Limits

• Reducing a limit takes effect immediately and cannot be reversed for 24 hours. This prevents impulsive limit changes made in the heat of a gaming session.
• Increasing a limit requires a 24-hour cooling period before the higher limit becomes active. This built-in delay gives you time to reconsider whether the increase is genuinely appropriate.
• Temporary removal of a limit follows the same 24-hour delay as an increase, and hbije's support team may ask you to confirm your intention before processing the change.

6.3 Loss Limits and Wager Limits

In addition to deposit limits, hbije offers optional loss limits (a cap on the total amount you can lose within a given period) and wager limits (a cap on the total stake amount across all bets placed in a period). These tools are especially useful for sports betting players tracking BPL or T20 match wagers, where the pace of betting can accelerate quickly during a live match.
